One tiny step of independence

I can now use a cell phone - by myself! I have an iPhone strapped to my chair. The phone has a touch screen and a speaker. I can make and receive calls - all by myself. Maybe it doesn't sound like much, but I crave every little bit of independence I can get. Pretty neat, huh!

    I read the book all night long and finished it just about in one setting. Very hard to put down. It is just wonderful, Maxine. I can't wait to hear the feedback!

    I have to say I got frustrated when duties drew me away from my reading. I read the final page this evening and now I am anxious to read your next book!!! I laughed, cried, felt joy and sadness, well, to tell you the truth I don't think there was an emotion your book didn't stir up in me. It is GREAT!!!!!

    Wow! You can use the phone by yourself! Maxine, that is just GREAT! I can't even imagine the look on your face when you tried it the first time!! So are you still doing the book signing tomorrow?
